What started as childhood curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong passion. By the time Tate reached high school, he had discovered the raw emotion and expressive power of the blues—music that spoke to him in a way nothing else had. That discovery shaped his musical identity from that point forward.

At eighteen, Tate stepped onto the live music scene, performing in bars, pubs, and small venues throughout the York and Lancaster regions. Night after night, he honed his craft onstage, developing not only his technique but also the soulful presence and confident voice that audiences quickly came to recognize.

Deeply inspired by icons such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Freddie King, Tate draws from the masters while carving out a sound that is uniquely his own.
