Corty Byron

Corty Byron is a longtime fixture of the local music scene in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, having begun gigging in his teenage years and never stepping off the road since. His performances are eclectic and constantly evolving, rooted in Americana traditions and steeped in a vintage, blues-driven, soul-drenched authenticity. Whether performing as a solo acoustic artist or leading a seasoned rock ’n’ roll band, Corty delivers a sound that is both timeless and unmistakably his own.

His journey has carried him far beyond local stages, including tours of Ireland, prison concerts, a formative chapter living in Venice Beach, and opening slots for classic rock legends. Along the way, he has remained deeply engaged in social activism and community service. In March 2024, Corty was honored with the Best Blues Artist Award by the Central PA Music Hall of Fame. A proud father and often described by fellow musicians as a “chameleon,” he approaches his craft in a constant state of becoming—one day at a time.
